Lithic flakes.

I spent the past two weeks as part of a team of archaeologists and diggers who excavated what was presumed to have been a paleolithic settlement site. We made no spectacular discoveries though - all we found were some 100 lithic flakes like the ones in the picture above. The weather had been miserable for most of the time; the site got drenched with rain many times.
This coming week will be the last week of digging I'm going to do before my trip to France. Before I visit that beautiful country, however, I'll spend a few days at Europe's largest wildlife preserve for endangered species.
