When The Music's Not Forgotten

Pumpjack, near Hamburg, Germany.
November 2011.

In a dream
That I had not long ago
Visions of
A city made of gold
And a sound
That I never heard before
Such a sound
Saturating to the core
Such a sound
One that could not be forgotten

In a time
When the music's not forgotten

I just noticed that it's been a long time since I last published a sepia-toned photograph... so here it is. Yesterday, I changed the layout of this blog... let me know if you like it.

I hope it's a lovely day wherever you may be.

Did you have a little jerrycan handy!?? :)

Hahah, no I didn't... those pumpjacks (there's two more nearby) are out of service.

I do like the layout of your blog and I like your new tagline too (or has the tagline not changed but simply become more prominent?)

I like that grand machine! I love old workhorses like that.

Thanks! No, the tagline hasn't changed, but it has become more prominent indeed. I thought the old layout had started to look a bit boring, considering there's many ways to customise one's blog. Speaking of prominent, I do believe the archaeology-part of the tagline hasn't been featured that often lately... so I should finally take a picture of a truly magnificent find I made at the excavation site I worked at this past summer. :-)

I definitely like the new layout! It feels like I'm reading from a book and fits with your style of writing very well :) I haven't posted a sepia pic in a while either!! =o
