You can take all the tea in China
Put it in a big brown bag for me
Sail right round the seven oceans
Drop it straight into the deep blue sea
She's as sweet as Tupelo Honey
She's an angel of the first degree
She's as sweet as Tupelo Honey
Just like honey from the bee
There's a rose pressed inside a Bible
That she reads on the balcony
She's sweet in slumber and I've got her number
For the beginning of the century
(Van Morrison - Tupelo Honey)
Julia, who hosted me in Paderborn, Germany.
June 2012.
Van Morrison's masterpiece "Tupelo Honey" is one of the most beautiful songs ever written, and along with Bruce Springsteen's "Thunder Road" it's one of my favourite songs.

After I had taken these pictures of Julia, it occurred to me that there's no reason why I shouldn't take pictures of people more often.
More new pictures coming soon... but I've got a hard week at work coming up... I'm gonna try to watch as many matches of Euro 2012 as possible... and last but not least, I'm once again searching for a new apartment.
Have a great week!

Our 'wedding song'. We returned to the same hotel, same room of our honeymoon 25 years earlier just 2 weeks ago :)
That's awesome Ian! I hope you enjoyed that trip as much as your honeymoon. :-)
Where are you seeking the apartment? Do you prefer in the centre or outskirts? Hope you find one you like soon.
really nice portraits
I hope to find a flat within 20 minutes of where I work, and close to the centre as well.
I've been thinking about relocating, to Berlin, or to Canada for a year abroad, but now that I'm doing so well at work I don't plan to go anywhere any time soon. I had a lot of reasons to leave London and start anew, but if I left Hamburg now, it would feel like running away, and I don't run away just because not all is easy at the moment.
Thanks for the compliments! :-)
Dominic - I see you have excellent taste in women, music and travel destinations. Nice use of light in your photography.
