Have A Little Faith In Me

When the road gets dark
And you can no longer see
Just let my love throw a spark
And have a little faith in me

And when your back's against the wall
Just turn around and you will see
I'll be there, I'll be there to catch your fall
So have a little faith in me

I will hold you up
I'm gonna hold you up
Because your love, it gives me strength enough
So have a little faith in me

Paderborn Cathedral, Paderborn, Germany.
June 2012.

If you've seen the perfection that is Chartres Cathedral, Paderborn Cathedral won't blow you away, but it's a beautiful building nonetheless.
The "Dreihasenfenster" ("Window of Three Hares" is a very interesting work of art and one of the town's landmarks. The motif of the three hares also appears in many other sacred sites throughout Europe and the Middle and Far East.

Goodnight.

I've seen the Chartres Cathedral and I still like this. :) Thanks for bringing my attention to the three hares. I'll look for them next time I go to Europe.

You're welcome! I love old European folklore and myths. There are so many beautiful stories that most young people haven't heard about or don't care about.

I remember Paderborn cathedral. I was too young to notice its finer points though.

I have seen the Chartres cathedral. I will have to get to Paderborn one of these days. It's sort of a running joke between my husband and I. :)

Love the architecture of all the buildings you've shot recently. You're so fortunate to be able to visit all this stuff! Arizona State t-shirt! I'm a University of Arizona grad, so that's our rival, but cool to see an Englishman wearing it! :)

Beautiful and fascinating. Any idea what the three hares represent?

Thank you for your comments!!!

Halcyon: Your husband is German, isn't he?

Trisha: I really enjoyed the days I spent driving around Arizona... that T-shirt is a souvenir I bought at the end of my trip.

Jonathan: The hares may represent fertility or, since the symbol appears in a Christian church, trinity.
