One Thing Of Beauty

Roussillon, France.
September 2011.

Gimme just one thing of beauty
To last me for all of my years
Gimme just one thing of beauty
To wash away all of my tears

Gimme one thing of beauty
Since it all turns to ashes and dust
Gimme one thing of beauty
Yeah, the rest you can do what you must

(Marc Cohn - One Thing Of Beauty)

Have a great week.

It looks like sunset but doesn't it have that name because of its red earth? Lovely picture!

Yes, that's correct. The village was built on top of an ochre ridge, and most of the houses are coloured in various shades of red. You seem to know a lot about the area!

Thanks very much y'all!

Ely: Lovely pictures! It would've been nice to stay longer, but we had a long way still ahead of us that day.
